 The world is becoming a colder and darker place. Everywhere I look I see sadness and despair, and sometimes it feels too overwhelming. My heart is heavy with regret and longing. I long for the days when everything seemed so much simpler and brighter.  I missed out on so many opportunities and chances because I was too afraid to take risks. I kept convincing myself that it was safer to stay in my comfort zone and stay away from danger or pain. But now I see that I deprived myself of so much joy and happiness, and I can't help but feel regret.  Perhaps it's not too late to make amends and find some peace in this chaotic world. I have to start somewhere, and I'm hoping that I can find the courage to take that first step.

 তোমার কাছাকাছি , পাশাপাশি অনেকদিনই তো বসেছি, অনেক প্রয়োজনের, অপ্রয়োজনের কথা হয়েছে, মাঝেমধ্যে তোমার দু-একটি কাজে কষ্ট পেয়েছি; হয়তো আমার অগোচরে আমিও তোমাকে কষ্ট দিয়েছি।  কিন্তু পরস্পরকে আমরা কতোটা চিনতে পেরেছি, বা প্রকাশ করতে পেরেছি? আমি কিন্তু সত্যিই বাকপটু নই একটুও। নীরব ভাষায় যতোটা নিজেকে প্রকাশ করতে পারি, তারো চেয়ে অনেক কম পারি ভাষা-ব্যবহারে। গভীর গোপন কোনো কথা কি ভাষায় ব্যক্ত করা সম্ভব? আমার ধারণায় নেই, তোমার আছে? তোমাকে নিয়ে আমার খুব ভয়। ভয় এই কারণে যে, পাছে তুমি আমায় ভুল বুঝে না বসো; তা-হলে আমার বড় ক্ষতি হয়ে যাবে। ভয় এই কারণে যে, আমার কোনো কথায়, কোনো ব্যবহারে তুমি আঘাত পাও, তা আমি চাই না। তোমাকে ভয় এই কারণেও যে, তোমাকে আজো আমি পুরোপুরি বুঝে উঠতে পারলাম না; তুমি রহস্যময়।  তবে তুমি মোটামুটি খোলামেলা এবং দিবালোকের মতো পরিষ্কার। তবুও ভয়... তোমার সর্বাঙ্গীণ মঙ্গলই আমার কাম্য : আমি চাই মানুষ হিসেবে তুমি শক্তভূমিতে দৃঢ় পায়ে অন্য সবার মাথার উপর, অনেক উপরে উঁচু হয়ে দাঁড়াও এবং সর্বোপরি ভালো থাকো। তোমাকে আমি সুখী দেখতে চাই, দেহ-মনে সুস্থ, প্রাণোচ্ছল, হাশিখুশি।

 I have been trying to find the words to express how I feel about you for a long time, but I never knew how. But now, I know that I have to tell you how I feel.  You have been an amazing presence in my life and I truly appreciate all the moments we have shared. I hope you know how I feel about you.  I cannot deny the strong feelings I have for you. I want you to know that I find you incredibly attractive and I admire the way you carry yourself, your kindness, and your intelligence. I notice how you light up the room with your presence and how you always seem to make everyone around you happy. You make me feel like I'm on cloud nine when I'm around you. I think about you all the time and I dream of us being together. I can only hope that my feelings are reciprocated.

 I have fallen so deeply in love with you that I can barely find the words to express my feelings. From the moment we first met, I noticed something special about you that made my heart skip a beat. Every time we are together I feel a love like I have never felt before – a love that is pure, honest, and passionate.  I want to live with you until the end of my life. I want to spend every moment of my days with you and make lasting memories together. I want to be the person you turn to when you are looking for comfort and understanding, and I want to be the one you rely on to be by your side when times are tough.  I love you, deeply and unconditionally, and I want nothing more than to be with you always.
